Well university is nearly over. Can't believe I'm in the third year and on track to actually passing and obtaining a degree!
My course isn't half as cool as I thought it would be. Environmental Hazards just sounds cool and dangerous doesn't it..... well it's not. It's all to do with volcanoes, earthquakes, climate change, groundwater, environmental auditing and so on. Even those topics sound generally exciting, I guess it must just be the way that the topics are taught... I now hate PowerPoint presentations with a passion!
The other students on the course are very strange. There are at most four or five people that are actually 'normal'. By which I mean are actually worth having a conversation with. The lecturers themselves are also very strange in their own ways whether it's Nick with the way that he constantly makes risque jokes or Mike 'the bulge' who wears his trousers far too high!
The only part of the course that is pretty cool are the trips that we get to go on.. went to Tenerife last year and about to head off to Cyprus at the end of March for a week. Should be good... only thing is that we will be working 8am until at least 6pm every day and there is only one person in my year of whom is actually going.
In the process of finishing off my dissertation at the moment, up to about 4500 words, need to do 6000 but finding time to write more when I'm just so good at procrastinating is difficult... bloody Call of Duty 4!
Anyway, only a few months left and I will be getting a full time job... Ahhhh!
